Shambhala Recap by David Matisse from Keys & Krates
Not too long ago, I did a post about a crazy ass music festival called Shambhala that takes places every summer in the woods of BC, Canada. Well, that festival already took place this past weekend and I’m sorry to say that if you didn’t go then you missed out big time! Unfortunately I couldn’t make it out there but my homie Matisse from Keys & Krates did and he managed to document and write a post about his whole experience. If you’re interested in reading about his experience at this year’s Shambhala festival just click the ‘Read More’ link.

New York: MoMA PS1′s The Warm Up

If you’re interested in some next level forward minded progressive shit, then the following might interest you. Every Saturday from now until Sept. 8th, the folks at MoMA PS1 host a crazy dance party in their huge courtyard. The Warm Up is an outdoor music series that has exploded in popularity in recent years. It’s built a reputation for introducing audiences to the best in experimental live music, sound, performance, and DJ’s. And, they not only experiment with the sounds but they mess around with the visuals too. This year the courtyard has been transformed into a temporary urban landscape (yeah, next level!).
