There are two solid reasons why you should get better acquainted with this mag: 1) Food 2) Travel. Two things you can never get enough of. Cereal is a brand spanking new publication that offers readers detailed expositions of edible topics, travel destinations, as well products, people, and places.

NYC: Pop Up Flea (PUF)

Okay, I’m a whole day late on this one but there is still two days left for this event, so I figured I’d still give you the heads up. Alright, so taking place today and tomorrow is the Pop Up Flea, which in a nutshell is a weekend of menswear fun in NYC. The event will give you a chance to meet the people behind your favourite brands, and it’ll also allow you to purchase some quality men’s items. You can expect to find everything from new & vintage clothing, to classic cars, home goods, vintage watches, and a huge amount of other stuff.

Toronto: Chop Up Shop

FACT: Most of us want what we can’t have, and most often what we want are the things that other’s have. Knowing that, a few individuals in Toronto are collaborating on a project that’s built on that premise. The project is called the ‘Chop Up Shop’, and it’s a market that allows you to shop from some of Toronto’s most creative closets and living rooms. The market opens it’s doors tomorrow (Sat Aug. 11th) from 3pm -9pm, so don’t sleep, because there should be a lot interesting finds.
Check the flyer above for all the details.
London Hand-Drawn map by Jenni Sparks

Here’s something for all of you design addicted travel junkies. It’s a hand-drawn map of London, created by artist Jenni Sparks for London-based art print producers Evermade. As you can see, the print replicates the streets, neighborhoods, and landmarks of the city, as well as highlighting lesser-known and more intricate details about the city. It took Jenni Sparks two months to complete this cool piece of work, so be nice and show your appreciation by purchasing one here.

The New York Times, 36 Hours: 150 Weekends in the USA & Canada Book
The New York Times just made your travels a hell of a lot easier (in a North America that is), by compiling their 36 hours column into one book. Â 36 hours is a weekly NY Times column that aims to make your travels a little smoother by giving you a set itinerary. A list that you should be able to complete in, I don’t know, 36 Hours, which is good because anyone who travels knows that time is crucial. Â The timing of the release couldn’t be better because if you know someone who loves to travel this would be an excellent stocking stuffer.
The book is available now through Amazon.

Brooklyn: Dan’s Parent’s House
I was rummaging through the Brooklyn Flea Market when I caught glimpse of something that gave me a jolt of nostalgia. Not knowing what it was, I glanced over again, and I seen my childhood right in front of me.
Paris: Oh-Eff-Eehrrr
0fr – If I owned a bookshop, I’d want it to look and feel like this place named 0fr. A tiny but nicely curated space that’s located in Paris’ trendy Marais district.  I was wandering around the area when I spotted the shop’s storefront, and was lured in by two familiar looking words  ‘librairie’ and ‘galerie’.  I expected to find the usual independent bookshop stacked with rarefied books except with a gallery.
