Vintage Festival – The popularity of all things vintage has skyrocketed in recent years. Some attribute the popularity to the recent recession, but the real reason is actually much simpler than that. There’s a reason why you can’t get more than five wears out of that shirt from H&M, but yet, your late Grandma’s blouse is still in mint condition. Things were made better back then. Knowing this, some smart mofo’s in London created a festival that pays homage to the timeless things from yesteryear.
The event is called the Vintage Festival, and it’s a sensual delight, a big dressing-up box, a collector’s dream and a creative feast for all ages. For one glamorous weekend they celebrate the music, fashion, film, art & design, dance and food from the 1920’s to the 1980’s that has made Britain the world’s creative and cultural hot bed.
The glorious grounds of Boughton House provide the backdrop and will transform into a multi-venue playground where, over 3 days, ticket holders can ‘learn the dances’ , take in specially curated live performances , exclusive DJ sets , catwalk shows , brilliantly conceived food and cocktails , or take advantage of the decade specific hair and beauty makeovers and all the wonderful vintage shopping on offer.

If you’re an admirer of all things vintage and you’re going to be in London area, between the 13th – 15th of July, then this really is a no brainer. To learn more about the Vintage Festival, click here.
