This place is a Godsend for anyone who wants to have fun in South Beach but doesn’t want to break their bank to do it. I came here on my last night (a Sunday night) in MIA, and I had a blast! The music was amazing. In the main room they played everything from dancehall to new and ol’ skool hip-hop, and in the back room they got a little more experimental with the sounds.
It’s divey, laid back, and yes, a bit hipsterish, but it’s fun and more importantly it’s FREE (yes, no cover), which is unheard of in South Beach. I definitely wouldn’t send everybody here though. If velvet ropes and bottle service is your thing, DO NOT come here. This place is for the people who want to dance, drink, and vibe out in an unpretentious atmosphere.
