The weather is finally starting to warm up, and in Berlin that means that party season is just about to reach full throttle. One place that the locals and out-of-towners like flock to is Kater Holzig; a very cool and outlandish looking nightspot that’s located in Berlin’s Mitte neighbourhood.

Okay, so the first thing you should know is that this space is pretty much three things in one. It’s a restaurant, bar, and nightclub, and not only that, but there’s an indoor and outdoor area for each one of those things that was just listed off. However, your main concern should be to attend some of the crazy-ass parties that happen there. We’re talking parties that start at 3am and last until noon (Yes, noon).

At Kater, they’re known to go heavy on the oonzt oonzt sound. But this is Berlin, so adjust accordingly. Do that, and it will be well worth your time because Kater has a rep for having some incredibly live people there. Simply put, there’s a handful of places that you should visit before you leave Berlin, and Kater Holzig is definitely one of them. Click here for more info.

New Yorkers can be a bi-polar bunch, and those extremities can be a bit off-putting. On one hand they can be the quickest to lend a helping hand, and the most socially engaging people you’ll ever meet. And on the other hand, they’ll be the quickest to chew your head off for the slightest perceived diss.

During your stay in New York, you’re going to want to avoid experiencing the ugly side of New York’s residents. So to help you do that, here’s a short tutorial on how to piss of a New Yorker in 36 seconds. Avoid doing these things at all cost.

Sydney, Australia – If you’re interested in knowing what the future of music will sound like, then perhaps you should consider checking out the Terminal Projekt. Well, that’s if you have you plans of being in Sydney between the 8th and 9th of June.

The show is billed as the electronic music festival of the future and is stacked with a line-up of forward thinking acts. And it’s part of Vivid Sydney, a festival, which aims to transform the city into a spectacular canvas of light, music, and ideas. If innovative music is your thing, then the Terminal Projekt should not be taken lightly.

The Aquadom in Berlin’s Radisson Blu Hotel is so boss. It stands at a hulking 25 meters and is shrink-wrapped in cylindrical acrylic glass. The dom houses up to 1500 fish and requires a team of divers to clean the fish tank and feed the fish about 3-4 times daily. Not saying you need to stay here, but it wouldn’t hurt to see it with your own eyes the next time you’re in Berlin.

Perhaps the coolest thing about Paris is it’s neighborhoods and how each one of them has a distinct charm with a cool name to match. You can almost say that each neighbourhood is it’s own character.

To come to think of it, that’s probably what the global design agency of Havas Worldwide was thinking when it teamed up with Flying V to produce a video that used creative visuals that best represented Paris’ neighborhoods. In the video they use animated typography to bring out the individual characteristics of each Parisian neighbourhood. The end result is a video that was very well done.

Hokkaido, Japan – As you already know, there are a ton of reasons to visit Japan. There’s the intense nightlights, incredible shopping, mind-boggling gadgetry, rich history, and there’s this, the Unkai Terrace.

The view from the Unkai Terrace is exceptional. It’s situated at a dizzying height of 1100m and on a normal day would be a great place to grab a coffee/drink. But here’s where things truly get interesting. During the spring months, when the conditions are just right (normally during the morning hours), the terrace will find itself on top of a sea of clouds. Yes, a sea of clouds. So you can drink your mornings coffee and take in this rarely seen phenomena. The terrace is part of the Hoshino Resort Tomamu and is located on the island of Hokkaido. A location you should definitely hit up whenever you visit Japan.
