No, this is not a figment of someone’s imagination. It’s an actual spot on the remote Japanese Island of Okinawa. The spot is called Naha Harbor Diner, and it’s a huge tree house diner (Yes, a tree house diner) that’s known for serving some of the best Japanese, Thai, Korean, Chinese, and Indian food in all of Okinawa.
The diner sits on top of a huge Gajumura tree that’s 20 ft above the ground and over looks the Ocean. And can be entered by a spiral stairway or an inbuilt tree trunk elevator. Sick right? If you read this blog enough than you know I have a burning obsession with Japan, and shit like this just adds more fuel to the fire. Japan, I will be touching your shores soon.
