How many cities that you’ve been to do this? Bundle together a couple of logs, stand them upright, and place hollows in them so that people can leave and swap books  for free. Can’t name one right (unless you were about to say Berlin)? Yeah, I didn’t think so. I stumbled on this when I was walking on Kollwitzstrasse in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg section.
Apparently, it’s called The Book Tree, and it’s basically the library of your childhood dreams. Tree trunks littered with books. Sick! I know it’s not a marvel idea, but it’s still a pretty cool one. And for me I appreciate the cities that do unique things because in my experience that’s where you’ll find the unique experiences.
