Barcelona: The Choice Is Yours
Barcelona, Featured, Tips, Uncategorized |

Okay, I know, it’s only human nature to want be where everyone else is, and in Barcelona that place is La Rambla (pictured above); that infamous strip in central Barcelona that boasts everything from entertainment, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. The place is a human traffic jam and if it’s your first time there, it’s only natural that you’re going to want to check things out.

Go, look around, because there is a lot going on, but when it comes time to eat, don’t eat here because the food is over pricey. You see, it’s a tourist hub and where ever there are a lot of tourists you can be pretty sure that the prices have been inflated.

For cheap eats, take yourself here, to the Gracia neighbourhood (pictured above). Not only is the food cheaper but this place has a more local than cosmopolitan feel, and you’ll be able to have a more authentic dining experience.

And Besides, there are a ton of other reasons why you’ll want to explore this neighborhood. The neighborhood is young and bustling with activity in the night time with a wide range of bars and all other kinds of entertainment.

One place that I frequented a lot was a pizza joint called Pizzalbania (at least I think that’s name). The food was good, cheap, and the staff was really friendly and it’s just one of the many restaurants that you’ll find that offers good cheap eats.

You can get to the Gracia neighbourhood by getting of at either the fontana or Lesseps station (on line L3)
